Reordering Printed Books

Reprint more books with less hassle with 48 Hour Books

Reprinting books is quick and easy when you print with 48 Hour Books. Order what you need, when you need it and get books in your hands fast.

How It Works

When you print with 48 Hours Books, you can reprint at any time. We will never delete your files. To make things even easier, we will usually assign your book reorder to the same customer service representative and pre-press technician who managed your previous order. Order as few as 10 copies or as many as you need.

Simply log in to your account (use the “Hello, Sign In” option in the upper right-hand corner of the website). You’ll see a list of books you’ve printed with us. Click the word “Reorder” next to the title you want to reorder.

Note: Your readers will not be able to order your book from 48 Hour Books — they will need to purchase books directly from you (or from your distributor of choice). We will never share your files or information with anyone who is not named on your account.

You have two options for reordering

Exact Reprint

If you want to print the same files (zero changes), select Exact Reprint.

With an exact reprint, we use the same files and the same specs (paper, cover etc.).
By skipping the need for proofing, your order goes straight to print.
Production time remains the same, but without proofing time needed, you’ll get your books faster.
Every exact reprint order gets a $20 discount.
Since we begin printing immediately, exact reprints must be paid in full at the time of ordering.

With an exact reprint, you have the opportunity to choose a different shipping address and quantity of books.

Reprint with Changes

If you want to make changes to your files for the reprint, we can do that too.

Select the book you want to reprint and go through the ordering process to confirm the specs of your order. Make edits in each field you’d like to change.
Fields are prefilled with your last version’s selections, so you can choose to keep or change each detail. If your changes require new files, you can upload them after submitting the reprint order.
When processing a reprint with changes, we’ll send you PDF proofs to review and approve before we begin printing your reorder (and you can add a printed proof, too, if you’d like).
Let us know in the comments section of the order if you want us to re-use any of the files from your previous printing.

Reprinting Made Easy

When reprinting, you don’t pay additional design fees unless you’re requesting new design work. You won’t have to pay for a new ISBN unless the book has an entirely different binding type, cover, or other special circumstances.

With every order of 100 or more books, you get 25 additional books for free. If you need to stick to a monthly budget or want to reprint in batches, this can be an economical choice.
